This past weekend I spent most of my time with my hubby in Central Park and I watched the little girls play, laugh, show their innocence, their jealousy… yea I am talking about the ”first jealousy moment” of their little lives. I saw the big sister sitting in the stroller, sucking her thumb while the younger sister who just started walking, was trying to feel the ground as long as she could. That little moment brought back memories of when I was young when I didn’t want to be the older sister because parents pay more attention to the baby sister who can’t help herself. I’m sure there must be some way to communicate to the first child how precious they are and how it’s just not worth imitating their little siblings for attention. I think I’m not the only one who had that thought.

I feel a little giddy that today is actually Friday because I feel like my schedule has been really tight this week. The most relaxing moment begins friday night and this today my little endangered animals notecards are featured on the first FRIDAY GIVEAWAY on http://www.gorjuss.co.uk/blog/. hahaha…I know, this is such a dork things to do by posting my new kitchen toys. Mr. Greenie is really new for me. I thought about buying it over a year and I finally own it. Like I mentioned before, I’m not a professional cook, so I got new mixer replacement from my misusage. Thank you KitchenAid again for the generous warranty that they have. So, now I can experiment cooking more, and have to remind myself about the advice from customer service “miss, make sure you read the manual this time”.

The Swirl of Fun

Swirls of fun may not happen often because of man’s greed. The number of their population shocks me the most and it also inspired me to create this piece. I have moments in my head when I think about “whales”; but I also continue research about them to learn more. The movement underwater of these mammals are as beautiful as ballerinas performing under the sea. I hope whaling people rethink how they are treating the largest mammals on earth.

It’s me, Malathip (Kitcharoentham) “Nue” Kriheli… same person, new look. I decided to add more personality to my website after using templates for a while. This couldn’t have been done without help from my husband. See, I was an interior architect from Thailand and coming to New York changed many things, but didn’t halt my learning and expanding my repertoire. So far, I’ve been in New York City for almost 7 years now…wow, that went by quickly. I’ve learned a lot from living here, speaking English, keeping myself busy and cooking . People have seen me post a ton of food pictures like a freak. That’s because I feel like my cooking skills have improved improve dramatically over the years. Despite this, my interest in design, graphics and crafts are stronger than ever. That is mostly what I’d like to share with everyone through my website.
